Hunza Honeymoon Packages from Lahore 2026
4 private honeymoon trips with your own car and driver
Our Hunza honeymoon packages are private road trips for a married couple, with your own car and driver from Lahore for 8 to 11 days. Prices start at PKR 250,000 per couple and cover the car, A-category hotels with a room for the two of you, tolls and, depending on the trip, jeeps, the Attabad Lake boat or the Khunjerab tickets. Meals are not included, so you eat where you like. Every trip goes to Hunza and the Khunjerab Pass, with nights in Naran and Shogran.
The driver collects you from home in Lahore, or in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, and couples from Karachi usually fly to Islamabad and meet him there. A private trip can start from any city in Pakistan; we confirm the price for your starting point when you book.
The four packages differ in length and pace. The 8-day trip is the shortest way to see Hunza and Khunjerab from Lahore. The 9-day trip adds the Lalazar meadows and a night in Batakundi, and the two 11-day trips also add a first night in Balakot, two nights in Shogran and a night in Islamabad, so no single day on the road is too long.
Hunza honeymoon packages from Lahore
Hunza honeymoon packages and prices per couple
All four packages are private road trips from Lahore with three nights in Nagar, near Rakaposhi, as the base for Hunza. They differ in length, in how the Kaghan Valley nights are split, and in which jeeps and tickets are in the price.
Our tour pages show the price per person, as most sites do. A couple pays twice that and shares one room. The table gives the full price for two.

Sample Hunza honeymoon route: 8 days from Lahore
This is the plan of the 8-day Hunza honeymoon, the shortest of the four. The longer trips follow the same line with more stops.
Days 1 and 2: Lahore to Naran and Lake Saif-ul-Malook
The driver collects you in Lahore and you drive up the Kaghan Valley to Naran, about 610 km. Day two is for the jeep up to Lake Saif-ul-Malook and an evening in Naran bazaar.
Day 3: Babusar Top and the Karakoram Highway
You cross Babusar Top (4,173 m), stop at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the point where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush meet, and reach Nagar, near Rakaposhi, by night.
Days 4 and 5: Karimabad, Attabad Lake and the Khunjerab Pass
One day is for Karimabad, Altit Fort and Attabad Lake, where the boat ride is included. The other goes north on the Karakoram Highway past Passu and the Hussaini bridge to the Khunjerab Pass at 4,693 m, with the entry tickets included.
Days 6 to 8: Naran, Shogran and home
A long drive takes you back over Babusar to Naran. The next day is a shorter drive down to Shogran, with an afternoon at the Siri Paye meadows; the jeep is paid locally. On day eight you drive home to Lahore.
Where to stay on a Hunza honeymoon: Nagar, Karimabad or Attabad Lake
Our packages use Nagar for the three Hunza nights. The hotels there look across the valley at Rakaposhi, the nights are quiet, and the area sits on the Karakoram Highway, so the sightseeing days start easily.
Karimabad puts you within walking distance of Baltit Fort, the bazaar and the cafes, which is nice for evening walks, but it is busy in July and August. The hotels on the shore of Attabad Lake are newer, with the water right outside, but you drive for everything else. If you would like a night or two in Karimabad or at Attabad Lake instead of Nagar, ask when you book; the price depends on the hotel, and we confirm it before you pay the advance.
Best time for a Hunza honeymoon
Our Hunza honeymoons go by road over Babusar Top, which is usually open from mid-June to late September or early October. June and September are the best months for couples: the roads are open, the weather is mild, and there are fewer crowds than in July and August, when school holidays fill the hotels.
April is lovely for apricot blossom and late October for the gold poplars, but Babusar is closed then, so the road goes via Besham and the Naran and Shogran nights drop out. We plan those trips on request. Winter is cold, many cafes close and the Khunjerab Pass is shut, so we do not suggest it for a honeymoon. Our Hunza tour packages page has the weather month by month.
By road from Lahore or fly to Gilgit?
Our packages go by road because the route through Naran and Shogran is half the trip. You can fly from Islamabad to Gilgit in about an hour and drive two hours to Hunza, which saves two days, but flights are often cancelled in bad weather. If you want to fly one way, ask us for a separate quote and keep a spare day before your flight home.
Travelling as a couple: documents, signal and safety
Carry both original CNICs. Hotels register every guest, and some ask newly married couples for the nikah nama, so keep a photo of it on your phone. Checkposts on the Babusar road and the Karakoram Highway may also ask for CNICs.
Hunza is one of the safest places in Pakistan for couples. The things to plan for are the long road days, landslides after rain and the thin air at Khunjerab. Mobile data works in the towns but drops on parts of the highway, and cards work in few places outside Karimabad and Aliabad, so carry cash for meals and shopping.
Booking a Hunza honeymoon: advance and cancellation
Send us your dates, your start city and the package you like on WhatsApp or through our contact page. A 30% advance confirms the booking, and the rest is paid at departure. We confirm the hotels before you travel.
If you cancel more than 7 days before departure, we refund 75% of what you paid. Between 5 and 7 days before departure we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days before departure, and no-shows, are not refunded. The full terms and conditions are on our site.

Hunza honeymoon packages FAQs
How much does a Hunza honeymoon package cost per couple?
Our Hunza honeymoon packages cost PKR 250,000 per couple for 8 days, PKR 270,000 for 9 days, PKR 300,000 for the 11-day Naran, Shogran and Hunza trip and PKR 310,000 for the 11-day Hunza Gilgit trip. Each price covers a private car and driver from Lahore, A-category hotels with one room for the couple and tolls. Meals are not included.
Is the price per couple or per person?
Our tour pages show the price per person, and a couple pays twice that. The 8-day package, for example, is PKR 125,000 per person, so PKR 250,000 for the two of you. You share one hotel room and the car is only for you.
How many days do we need for a Hunza honeymoon from Lahore?
At least 8 days at an easy pace. The road takes two days each way, and you want two full days in Hunza plus a night or two in Naran or Shogran. With 9 to 11 days the driving days get shorter and you add Lalazar, Batakundi and more time in Shogran.
Is the honeymoon tour private?
Yes. You travel in your own car with a driver who doubles as your guide, and nobody else joins the trip. The hotel room is for the two of you, and you can stop wherever you like along the way.
Are meals included in the honeymoon package?
No. Meals and drinks are not included on any of our honeymoon packages. You pay as you go, at the hotel or in the bazaar, so you can choose where and when to eat. The price covers the car and driver, the hotels, the jeeps or tickets listed for your trip, and tolls.
Show 9 more questions
Can you pick us up from Islamabad, Karachi or another city?
Yes. The driver can collect you in Lahore, Islamabad or Rawalpindi. Couples from Karachi usually fly to Islamabad and meet the driver there, and on the 11-day trips he can drop you in Islamabad for your flight home. A trip can start from any city in Pakistan; we confirm the price for your city when you book.
Which hotels do you use on a Hunza honeymoon?
A-category hotels with one room for the couple, in Naran, Nagar and Shogran, plus Balakot, Batakundi and Islamabad on the longer trips. We book them on availability for your dates and confirm them before you travel. We do not publish hotel names in advance.
Should we stay in Karimabad, Nagar or at Attabad Lake?
Our packages use Nagar, which is quiet and faces Rakaposhi. Karimabad is better if you want to walk to Baltit Fort and the cafes in the evening, and Attabad Lake suits couples who want the water outside the room and do not mind driving. Ask when you book if you would like to switch a night or two.
When is the best time for a Hunza honeymoon?
June and September. Our Hunza honeymoons go over Babusar Top, which is usually open from mid-June to late September, and those two months are mild and less crowded than July and August. Blossom in April and autumn colour in late October are beautiful, but the road then goes via Besham, so we plan those trips on request.
What if Babusar Top is closed when we travel?
Then the route to Hunza goes along the Karakoram Highway via Besham, which is longer, and the Naran and Shogran nights usually drop out. If Babusar is closed on your dates, we tell you before you pay the advance and offer a changed plan.
Can we fly to Gilgit instead of driving?
Our packages are by road, because the route through Naran and Shogran is part of the trip. PIA flies from Islamabad to Gilgit in about an hour, but flights are often cancelled in bad weather. Ask us for a separate quote if you want to fly one way, and keep a spare day before your flight home.
Which car will we travel in?
A Honda City or a Toyota Corolla GLi or XLi, with a driver who knows the northern roads and doubles as your guide. The same car and driver stay with you for every day of the trip. For the tracks to Saif-ul-Malook, Lalazar and Siri Paye you switch to a local jeep.
Is Hunza safe for honeymoon couples?
Yes. Hunza is one of the safest areas in Pakistan and is used to couples and families from across the country. Carry both CNICs and a photo of your nikah nama, since some hotels ask for it. The real risks are road and weather: landslides after rain and the cold, thin air at the Khunjerab Pass.
How much advance do we pay, and what if we cancel?
A 30% advance confirms the booking and the rest is paid at departure. Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund 75% of what you paid; 5 to 7 days before, we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days before departure, and no-shows, are not refunded.
