Our story
About Pakistan Travel Diaries
A Lahore tour company for trips to the north of Pakistan, and a few places further away.
Who we are
Pakistan Travel Diaries is a tour company based in Lahore. Our office is in the Allied Bank Building, Canal View Society, and most of our trips leave from Lahore, with pickups in Islamabad for guests who join from there or fly in from abroad. We are a small, young team of trip planners, drivers and guides, and the same people who plan your tour are the ones you talk to while you are on it.
What we organise
Most of our work is in northern Pakistan: Hunza and Gilgit-Baltistan, Naran and Kaghan, Swat and Kalam, the Neelum Valley and Murree. We run fixed-date group tours, private trips for families and friends, and honeymoon packages for couples. We also book Umrah packages and tours to Turkey and Malaysia, and we rent cars with drivers from Lahore and Islamabad.

How a trip with us works
You tell us where you want to go, how many days you have and roughly what you want to spend. We send back a day-by-day plan with hotels and a price, and change it until it fits. On the road you have a driver who knows the mountain routes, local jeeps where cars can't go, and a guide on group tours. Our office is on WhatsApp every day from 9 am to 8 pm if plans need to change along the way.
Why our prices stay low
We keep our margins small on purpose. More people travelling around Pakistan is good for the guides, drivers and hotel owners we work with, and in the long run it is good for us too. If you want to know what other travellers thought, read our customer reviews, or get in touch and ask us anything.
Who writes our guides
Aneeq Iftikhar
Travel writer and trip planner
Aneeq writes most of our Naran guides, from the drive up to Babusar Top to where to eat in the bazaar, as well as the Pakistan tour cost breakdown. Aneeq works with the planning team in our Lahore office, so the posts tend to answer the questions customers ask before they book.
Ali Arslan
Travel writer
Ali writes about trips in the north, including the hike from Fairy Meadows to Nanga Parbat base camp and the top places to see in Naran Kaghan. During the 2022 floods Ali covered the road and bridge damage for travellers planning to go north that summer.
