Pakistan Tour FAQs

Quick answers about visas, seasons, prices and safety for your Pakistan holiday.

How do I plan a Pakistan tour?

Apply for your visa online at visa.nadra.gov.pk and get travel insurance before you fly. Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad have international airports. Urdu is the most common language, but English is widely understood. Pakistan is largely a cash economy, so carry cash, and expect weak internet in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. In the north you travel by coaster, car and jeep, and hotels range from budget rooms to luxury resorts. The easiest way is to book with a tour operator who handles transport, stays and permits for you.

What is the best time to visit Northern Pakistan?

June to September is the best time for most of Northern Pakistan: roads to Naran, Babusar Top, Fairy Meadows and Deosai are open and the weather is pleasant. Hunza is also beautiful in spring for the cherry and apricot blossoms, and in autumn for its golden colours.

How much does a Pakistan tour cost?

It depends on the number of days, the destinations and the hotels you choose. As an example, our 5-day Hunza standard tour costs PKR 27,000 per person and the 6-day Hunza luxury tour PKR 38,000 per person. Every package page shows its current price, and we can quote a custom trip for your group.

What is included in your tour packages?

Our packages cover transport, accommodation, meals and a tour guide, plus jeeps where cars and coasters cannot go. Depending on the destination we also add a bonfire, photography, hiking and boating, and every group carries a medical kit with basic medicines.

Do you offer Pakistan tours from Karachi?

Most of our tour packages depart from Lahore or Islamabad, and the prices on our website are from there. Travellers from Karachi can join the group in Lahore, or we can arrange transport from Karachi.

Do you have cheap Pakistan tour packages?

Yes. Along with luxury Pakistan tour packages we run economy group tours and budget couple tours, so you can pick the plan that fits your budget.

Do you offer honeymoon and family packages?

Yes. We plan honeymoon tour packages for newly married couples and family holiday packages where you choose the hotels, vehicle, food and activities. Neelum Valley is a popular honeymoon choice because Azad Kashmir is accessible for most of the year, unlike Naran and the upper Swat valley.

Is Pakistan safe for tourists?

The northern areas we travel to, such as Hunza, Skardu, Naran, Swat and Neelum Valley, welcome thousands of local and foreign tourists every year, and regions like Gilgit-Baltistan have a dedicated tourism police. Our guides know local conditions and plan routes around them. As with any trip, check your own government’s travel advice before you book.
