Send us your dates on WhatsApp or through the contact page and we quote the trip for your group.
Malaysia tour from Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad
The price is the same from all three cities. Lahore and Karachi have direct flights to Kuala Lumpur, about 5 to 6 hours from Lahore; from Islamabad the flight has one stop. We book the best fare for your dates and send the tickets with your travel documents.
Malaysia is 3 hours ahead of Pakistan, so the first day is kept light after the flight. Inside Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi is a flight of about an hour, and Genting Highlands is a drive and a cable car ride from the city.
Malaysia visa for Pakistanis
Pakistani passport holders need a visa for Malaysia. We apply for the Malaysia eVISA for you on MyVISA, the official portal of the Malaysian immigration department, and it is usually issued in 2 to 7 working days. An approved visa does not guarantee entry; the immigration officer on arrival has the final word, so carry printed copies of your hotel bookings and return ticket.
Malaysia also asks visitors to fill in the online Malaysia Digital Arrival Card in the 3 days before landing. We remind you with your travel documents. Rules and fees change, so we confirm the current list when you book.
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from your travel date
- Recent photo on a white background
- Recent bank statement
- Return air ticket and hotel bookings, which we provide
Best time to visit Malaysia
Malaysia is warm and humid all year, with short heavy showers most afternoons. For Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi on the west coast, December to March is the driest time, with calm seas for island trips. September and October are the wettest months there, and boat trips can be cancelled for rough sea.
Genting Highlands stays cool all year. Pakistani school holidays in June and July and the Eid holidays are busy times for families, so book early for those dates.
Halal food, prayer, money and SIM in Malaysia
Malaysia is a Muslim majority country. Halal food is easy to find in malls, food courts and restaurants, and halal certificates are displayed at many places. Mosques and prayer rooms are found in malls, airports and tourist sites. In Ramadan, the evening bazaars in Kuala Lumpur sell iftar food.
The currency is the Malaysian ringgit. Cards work in malls and hotels, but keep some cash for markets and small shops. Local SIM cards and eSIMs are sold at Kuala Lumpur airport, and most hotels have free WiFi.
