Our Naran Hunza honeymoon package is a nine-day private trip for couples who want both valleys in one go: the lakes and meadows around Naran, then Hunza and the Khunjerab Pass, with a night in Shogran on the way home.
The first three nights are in the Kaghan Valley. You reach Naran on day one, take a jeep up to Lake Saif-ul-Malook on day two, and on day three go up to the Lalazar meadows by jeep before moving to Batakundi. On day four you cross Babusar Top to Gilgit and reach Nagar, near Rakaposhi, for three nights.
From Nagar you spend a day at Karimabad, Altit Fort and Attabad Lake and a day on the Karakoram Highway to Passu and the Khunjerab Pass. Then it is back over Babusar to Naran, down to Shogran with a jeep ride to Siri Paye, and home to Lahore on day nine.
It is PKR 135,000 per person, or PKR 270,000 per couple, with your own car and driver for all nine days, eight nights in A-category hotels, the jeeps to Saif-ul-Malook and Siri Paye, and tolls.

Day by day
Times are a guide and can shift with the road and the weather.
The driver collects you from home in Lahore early in the morning and drives up the M-2 to Islamabad. Couples in Islamabad or Rawalpindi, or arriving on a flight from Karachi, can be picked up there at about 8 am instead. We take the Hazara Motorway through the Abbottabad tunnels, stop at the Mansehra viewpoint and Kiwai Waterfall near Balakot, and follow the Kunhar River up to Naran. After check-in you can walk through Naran Bazaar. Night in Naran.
After breakfast a local jeep takes you up to Lake Saif-ul-Malook, about half an hour from Naran on a rough track. Spend the time you want at the lake, then come back to Naran for dinner at the hotel or in the bazaar. Night in Naran.
After breakfast we leave Naran and switch to a jeep for the track up to Lalazar, a wide meadow above the valley. After a few hours there the jeep brings you down to Batakundi, a little further up the valley, for dinner and the night.
After breakfast in Batakundi we drive past Lulusar Lake to Babusar Top (4,173 m) and down to Chilas on the Karakoram Highway. We stop at the point where the Karakoram, Himalaya and Hindu Kush ranges meet and at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint, pass through Gilgit city and reach Nagar, near Rakaposhi, in the evening. Dinner and night in Nagar.
After breakfast we drive up to Karimabad in Hunza to see Altit Fort, around 1,000 years old, and walk through Karimabad Bazaar. Then we go through the Pakistan China Friendship Tunnels to Attabad Lake, where you can take a boat out on the water. In the evening we drive back to Nagar for dinner and the night.
A full day up the Karakoram Highway. We stop at the Passu Cones, the Batura Glacier and the Hussaini suspension bridge, pass Sost and climb to the Khunjerab Pass, 4,693 m up on the Chinese border. Take a warm layer for the top. Back to Nagar for dinner and the night.
An early start after breakfast for the long drive back down the Karakoram Highway and over Babusar Top. Check in at the hotel in Naran or Kaghan in the evening. Dinner and night there.
After breakfast we drive down the valley to Kiwai and up to Shogran, arriving at about 12 pm. After check-in a jeep takes you up to the Siri Paye meadows for the afternoon and brings you back to Shogran before dark. Night in Shogran.
After breakfast we drive down to Balakot, with an optional stop at Kiwai Waterfall and a short break by the Kunhar River. Islamabad and Rawalpindi guests are dropped home on the way, and couples flying out can be dropped in Islamabad. Otherwise we carry on to Lahore, eight to nine hours in all from Shogran.

No. You pay for meals as you go, at the hotel or in the bazaar. The price covers the car, hotels, the two jeeps and tolls.
The jeeps to Saif-ul-Malook and Siri Paye are included. The Lalazar jeep, the Attabad Lake boat and the Khunjerab and Altit Fort tickets are paid separately.
Day one, Lahore to Naran, is a full day of roughly 650 km. Day four, over Babusar to Nagar, and day seven, back to Naran, are the other long days, and the drive from Shogran to Lahore on day nine takes eight to nine hours. The days in between are short drives and jeep rides.
A 30% advance confirms your booking. Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund 75% of what you paid; 5 to 7 days before, we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days, and no-shows, are not refunded.
This route crosses Babusar Top twice, so we run it while the pass is open, usually from mid-June to late September. Before mid-June there can still be snow on the road, and from October the Naran hotels start to close. June and September are quieter than July and August, when the Kaghan Valley is at its busiest. When Babusar is shut, Hunza can still be reached on the Karakoram Highway through Besham. That is a longer drive and a different trip, so ask us for a separate quote.
