It was an amazing tour with Pakistan Travel Diaries. 5 Days Hunza tour was like a dream, I can not believe how the time flew over there, these 5 days were the best days. Every thing was properly managed, time, food, accommodation, traveling. The CEO Abuzar is not less than a Super Hero, the way he managed every thing was so smooth. He is like Jinny, call his name and he is in front of you asking "what can I do for you". It was a memorable tour. โฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‡

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the coaster leave from in Lahore?

At 11 pm from Thokar Niaz Baig or Barkat Market. Departures run through the season, so WhatsApp us for the next date and the exact pickup point. The coaster leaves Lahore at 11 pm, and Islamabad pickup on the way.

Can I join from Islamabad?

Yes. We pick up Islamabad guests on the way north on the first night and drop them in Islamabad on day five. There is no extra charge for joining in Islamabad. The pickup point is near the motorway or GT Road so the coaster stays on its route, and we share the exact spot with booked guests before departure.

How much does the 5-day Hunza tour cost?

PKR 27,000 per person in a room shared by 3 to 4 people. Children aged 3 to 9 pay PKR 19,000 and children under 3 travel free. A couple in a private room pay PKR 64,000.

How long is the drive from Lahore to Hunza?

Two days. We sleep in Naran on the first night and reach Hunza on the evening of day two, over Babusar Top. The way back is the same, with a night in Naran.

Is the Khunjerab Pass included?

Yes. Day three goes to the Khunjerab Pass (4,693 m) and the national park ticket is included. The boat on Attabad Lake and the jeep to Saif-ul-Malook are extra.

Show 5 more questions
Which hotels do you use?

Standard hotels in Naran and Hunza, booked on availability for your dates. We send you the names a few days before departure.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 30% advance confirms your seat. Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund 75% of what you paid; 5 to 7 days before, we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days, and no-shows, are not refunded.

How are the nights, meals and drives planned on the Hunza Tour Package 5 Days?

You sleep in Naran on nights one and four and in Hunza on nights two and three. Days two and four are long drives, about a full day each way between Naran and Hunza, so bring snacks and something to read. Breakfast is paratha, egg, milk tea and channay or aloo bhujia. Dinner rotates between chicken karahi, chicken qorma, chicken pulao, daal and a vegetable dish, served with fresh chapati and a cold drink. One night is a BBQ (chicken leg or chest piece) with a bonfire and music.

When is the best time to go on the Hunza Tour Package 5 Days?

This route crosses Babusar Top between Naran and Chilas, and that road is usually open from mid-June to late September or early October, depending on snow. That is the main window for these tours. In some years Babusar stays shut until July, and when it is closed the road to Hunza goes along the Karakoram Highway through Besham instead. That way is longer, so we tell you the changed plan before you pay the advance. The Khunjerab Pass has always closed to traffic from December to March. A year-round opening for trade was announced in late 2024, but trips to the top in winter still depend on snow. In summer the pass is open and the national park ticket is part of the price.

What is the difference between the standard and luxury Hunza Tour Package 5 Days?

This is the standard version of our 5-day Hunza trip. The luxury tour follows the same route on the same days in the same coaster, with a higher category of hotel and food, for PKR 6,000 more per person. If you want Altit Fort and Gilgit city too, look at the 6-day tour.
