Our Naran Babusar Top tour, 4 days and 3 nights from Lahore, adds a night in Shogran to the usual Naran trip. You spend two nights in Naran for Lake Saif-ul-Malook and Babusar Top, then a third in Shogran with a jeep ride up to the Siri Paye meadows.
It is a group tour in a Toyota Coaster. We leave Lahore at 11 pm, pick up guests in Islamabad around 3 am, stop for breakfast at Kiwai and reach Naran around 11 am. After a rest, jeeps take you up to Saif-ul-Malook, and the evening ends with dinner, Naran Bazaar and a bonfire.
On day two we drive past Lulusar Lake to Babusar Top, the 4,173 m pass at the head of the Kaghan Valley. On day three we come back down the valley to Kiwai, where the coaster parks and jeeps take us up to Shogran, a forested ridge at about 2,360 m, and on to Siri Paye. Day four is the drive home, and we reach Lahore around 11 pm.
Three nights in A category hotels (two in Naran, one in Shogran), four breakfasts, three dinners, both jeep rides and a tour guide are included. Rooms are shared by 3 to 4 people.

Times are a guide and can shift with the road and the weather.
We leave Lahore at 11 pm from Thokar Niaz Baig or Barkat Market. Guests from Islamabad are picked up around 3 am, and we stop at the Mansehra viewpoint before breakfast at Kiwai at about 8 am. We check in to the hotel in Naran around 11 am and you get three hours to rest. Then we change to jeeps for Lake Saif-ul-Malook and are back at the hotel by 6 pm. Dinner is at 8 pm, Naran Bazaar at 9 pm and the bonfire at the hotel at 10 pm.
Breakfast is early today, at 7 am. We drive north along the Kunhar River to Lulusar Lake for a short stop, then up to Babusar Top for photos and tea at 4,173 m. In the afternoon we come back to Naran for dinner and a second night at the hotel. The Babusar road normally opens in mid-June, so early in the season we check the road before we set off.
After breakfast we leave Naran and drive down the valley to Kiwai. The coaster stays there and we switch to jeeps for the hairpin road up to Shogran, arriving between 11 am and noon. The jeeps carry on to Siri Paye, about an hour above Shogran: open meadows, a small lake and, on a clear day, a view of Makra Peak. We come back down to Shogran for dinner and the night.
Breakfast is at 8 am and we leave at 9 am. Jeeps bring us down to the coaster at Kiwai, and we drive on through Balakot to Islamabad, where guests from Islamabad get off, and carry on down the motorway to reach Lahore around 11 pm.

Yes. Islamabad guests are picked up around 3 am on the way north and dropped off there on the way back. The price is the same, PKR 23,000 per person. The pickup point is near the motorway or GT Road so the coaster stays on its route, and we share the exact spot with booked guests before departure.

Yes. The jeep to Lake Saif-ul-Malook on day one and the jeeps from Kiwai up to Shogran and Siri Paye on day three are all in the price. The coaster cannot climb the Shogran road, so it waits at Kiwai.
No. The road over the pass is usually open from mid-June to late September or early October. Snow closes it for the rest of the year, and in some years it opens only in July.

A 30% advance confirms your seat. Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund 75% of what you paid; 5 to 7 days before, we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days, and no-shows, are not refunded.
