Our Swat honeymoon tour package is a private 3-day trip for couples, with two nights at the Serena hotel in Saidu Sharif. You have your own GLI car, driver and fuel for the whole trip, so the plan moves at your pace.
The car picks you up in Islamabad at 8 am on the first day, or in Lahore at 4 am if you start from there. We stop at Fizagat Park on the Swat River and a few other places on the way, and reach the Serena in the afternoon.
On day two you go up to Malam Jabba, rest at the hotel for a while, and in the afternoon visit Marghazar and the White Palace, the old summer palace of the Wali of Swat. Day three is for shopping in Mingora before the drive back to Islamabad.

Times are a guide and can shift with the road and the weather.
Your driver picks you up in Islamabad at 8 am and takes the motorway to Swat. From Lahore the car leaves at 4 am and passes Islamabad at about 8:30 am. We stop at Fizagat Park on the Swat River and at a few viewpoints along the way, then check in at the Serena hotel in Saidu Sharif.
After breakfast at the hotel we drive up to Malam Jabba. If snow or the state of the road stops the car, a jeep takes you up, and that is included. You come back to the hotel to rest, then visit Marghazar and the White Palace in the afternoon and return to the Serena for the evening.
Breakfast is at the hotel. You spend the morning in the Mingora bazaar, then the car drives you back to Islamabad, where the trip ends. Lahore guests are home at about 9 pm.

Yes. The car and driver then come from Lahore, leave at 4 am on day one and bring you back to Lahore at about 9 pm on day three. The price from Lahore is PKR 120,000 per couple, PKR 30,000 more than from Islamabad, for the extra fuel, tolls and driving. The days in Swat are the same. Private tours can start from any city in Pakistan: tell us where you are when you book and we will plan the pickup from there.

No. Meals are not included on our honeymoon tours, so you pay for food yourselves, at the hotel or wherever you stop.
A 30% advance confirms the booking. Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund 75% of what you paid; 5 to 7 days before, we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days, and no-shows, are not refunded.
Lower Swat around Mingora and Saidu Sharif is pleasant in spring and autumn, from April to May and again in September and October. June is hot. Malam Jabba has snow from December to February, which some couples come for. In the monsoon months of July and August we check the roads before you set off.
Kalam and Mahodand Lake are too far up the valley for a 3-day trip from Islamabad. Our 5-day Swat Kalam tour uses the same kind of private car and adds two nights in Kalam with a jeep to Mahodand Lake.
