2 Days Murree Tour from Lahore with Nathia Gali and Ayubia
Tour Overview
Our 2 days Murree tour from Lahore covers the Murree hills and the Galiyat in one weekend: Patriata, Kashmir Point and Mall Road on the first day, then Ayubia, the Pipeline Track and Nathia Gali on the second, with one night in a Murree hotel and breakfast.
You can take it two ways. The group tour leaves Lahore by Toyota Coaster at 11 pm from Thokar Niaz Baig or Barkat Market, picks up Islamabad guests on the way at no extra charge and costs PKR 12,500 per person. The private trip is a Toyota Corolla with a driver from your door in Lahore for PKR 80,000 for a couple, and it can also start from Islamabad or any other city.
Murree is about 350 km from Lahore by the M-2 and the Murree Expressway, five to six hours by road, so the drive is short enough for a two-day trip. The hills are green from April to October and get snow from December to February, when roads can close and we follow the authorities' advice on the day.
The price covers the transport, the driver or tour guide, fuel, one night in a hotel and breakfast. Lunch and dinner, the Patriata and Ayubia ride tickets, tolls on the private trip and parking are paid on the spot.

2 days Murree tour from Lahore itinerary
Times are a guide and can shift with the road and the weather.
Lahore to Murree: Patriata, Kashmir Point and Mall Road
The coaster leaves Lahore at 11 pm the night before from Thokar Niaz Baig or Barkat Market, and Islamabad guests join on the way. After a breakfast stop we reach Patriata in the morning for the chairlift and, when it is running, the cable car (tickets on the spot). We check in to the hotel in Murree around noon, rest, then visit Kashmir Point and Pindi Point in the afternoon. The evening is free on Mall Road and at GPO Chowk, and the night is in Murree.
Ayubia, Pipeline Track, Nathia Gali and back to Lahore
After breakfast at the hotel we check out and drive to Ayubia, where you can walk the Pipeline Track, a flat forest path of about 4 km to Dunga Gali, while the coaster waits at the other end. Next is Nathia Gali for the bazaar, the church and lunch. We leave the hills in the afternoon, drop Islamabad guests and reach Lahore around 11 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the 2 days Murree tour from Lahore?
The group tour is PKR 12,500 per person in a room shared by 3 to 4 people, and children aged 3 to 9 pay PKR 9,000. The private trip in a Toyota Corolla with a driver is PKR 80,000 for a couple from Lahore. Both include one night in a hotel and breakfast.
Where does the group tour leave from in Lahore?
The coaster leaves at 11 pm from Thokar Niaz Baig or Barkat Market and picks up Islamabad guests on the way at no extra charge. We confirm the pickup point and the date when you book. WhatsApp us for the next departure.
Can the private trip start from Islamabad or another city?
Yes. The private trip can start from Islamabad, Rawalpindi or any city in Pakistan. From Islamabad the drive to Murree is about 60 km and under two hours, so the first day is shorter. Tell us your city and we quote the trip.
What is included in the price?
Transport, the driver or tour guide, fuel, one night in a hotel in Murree and breakfast on day two. Lunch and dinner, the Patriata and Ayubia ride tickets, and on the private trip tolls and parking, are paid on the spot.
Which car is used on the private trip?
A Toyota Corolla with a driver. For four or five people a BRV gives more room for luggage, and a Prado is better on snowy roads in winter. Both are quoted on request.
Show 6 more questions
Is Patriata open?
The Patriata chairlift usually runs through the season, but the cable car stops for maintenance from time to time and was shut for rope work in 2026. We check before your trip, and if a ride is closed the time goes to Kashmir Point and Mall Road instead.
How long is the Pipeline Track walk?
About 4 km between Ayubia and Dunga Gali, mostly flat on a shaded forest path, so it takes around an hour one way. The coaster or car waits at the other end. It is fine for families with children, and in winter it can be icy.
Can we go to Murree in winter for the snow?
Yes, between December and February, but plan for delays. Roads can close in heavy snow, and since the January 2022 storm the authorities limit how many cars enter Murree on snow days. We follow their advice on the day and keep the trip inside Murree if roads further on are shut.
Where do we stay?
One night in a hotel in Murree, near Mall Road on most departures. Hotel names depend on availability, so we confirm the hotel a few days before you travel. On the group tour rooms are shared by 3 to 4 people.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 30% advance confirms the booking. Cancel more than 7 days before departure and we refund 75% of what you paid; 5 to 7 days before, we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days, and no-shows, are not refunded.
Can we take a private car instead of the group tour?
The private trip follows the same two days in a Toyota Corolla with a driver, but on your own time. We pick you up at home in Lahore at about 6 am, stop for breakfast on the M-2 and reach Patriata before noon, so there is no night on the road. On day two you are home in Lahore by about 10 pm, later on busy weekends. It suits couples and families who want to stop where they like. PKR 80,000 covers the car, driver, fuel, one night in a hotel for two and breakfast. Tolls and parking are paid on the way. For four or five people we suggest a BRV, and a Prado for winter trips; tell us the size of your family and we quote it. The trip can also start from Islamabad or any city in Pakistan.
