Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the 5 days Baku tour cost?

PKR 265,000 per person from Lahore, in a room shared by 2 to 3 people. The price covers the return flight, the Azerbaijan e-visa, 4 nights in a 3 star hotel with breakfast, airport transfers, transport, the Gabala day trip and a guide.

Is the Azerbaijan e-visa included?

Yes. We apply for the ASAN e-visa for you; send a clear scan of your passport photo page, valid for at least 6 months. It is a single-entry visa for up to 30 days and is usually issued in about three working days. There is no visa on arrival for Pakistanis.

Which city does the flight leave from?

The price is for a direct flight from Lahore to Baku, about four hours, on AZAL, PIA or Airblue. Departure from Islamabad or Karachi costs about PKR 20,000 more per person; when there is no direct flight that week we book a connection through the Gulf. On request, WhatsApp us for the next date.

How much spending money should I take?

Lunch and dinner are not included, so budget about 15 to 30 manat a day for food, plus about 20 to 25 manat for each cable car. Take US dollars and change them in Baku; Pakistani rupees are not exchanged there. One manat is about PKR 163.

Is the Gabala day long?

Yes, it is the one long day of the trip: about three and a half hours each way by road, with a stop in Shamakhi on the way. If you would rather sleep in the mountains, the 7-day family tour spends nights in Shahdag and Gabala.

Show 3 more questions
When is the best time for this tour?

April to June and September to October are mild in Baku and green in Gabala. July and August are hot in the city, and from December to March there is snow at the top of the Tufandag cable car.

How much advance do I pay, and what is the cancellation policy?

A 30% advance confirms your booking and the rest is paid before departure. Air tickets and the e-visa fee cannot be refunded once they are issued. For the rest of the package, if you cancel more than 7 days before departure we refund 75% of what you paid. Between 5 and 7 days before departure we refund 50%. Cancellations in the last 4 days before departure, and no-shows, are not refunded.

Which other Azerbaijan tours do you run?

For families, the 7-day tour adds Gobustan, Quba and two nights in the mountains at Shahdag and Gabala. Couples can take the private 6-day honeymoon package, with a double room, a private car and two nights in Gabala.
